George Bush was a great president and we all know it, however many individuals bought into the media propaganda, feared it and allowed the media to formulate their thought process. Color the journalism any color you want and it will still be yellow.

In zombie Wonderland, what make W a great president? The worst terrorist attack in the nation's history on his watch? The horrific economic meltdown during his presidency? The trillions of dollars added to the national debt? The pitiful federal response to Katrina?

If W is your idea of a great Republican president, what would a bad Republican president look like - a cross between Benedict Arnold and Caligula?
Constance Wrote: Aug 29, 2011 3:37 PM
That video gave me chills. I have often watched the clip of President Bush after he received the news in his ear in that classroom. I did not see stupidity, hesitation, or an inability to lead. I saw a man who was in front of young children, who composed himself and handled it with tact and leadership. I've often stated to liberals who made fun of Bush's response that moment - "Would you have instead had him jump up screaming and run from the room?" Think about it. How do grownups behave in front of children so that we don't frighten the hell out of them? Bush handled it beautifully.
Odin Wrote: Aug 29, 2011 8:36 PM
Because in zombie Wonderland not frightening a roomful of school children by quietly getting up and leaving takes precedence over defending the country during a terrorist attack.

No wonder you Repubs are so weak on national defense. You have a hard time sorting out the important from the not-so important.

Constance Wrote: Aug 29, 2011 3:39 PM
Yep. Anytime Bush appears, whether in photo, video or in print, they lose their collective minds. Their hatred for Bush is so ridiculous, based on years of telling themselves how much they hate him. They don't even know why they hate him. They can't say because of Iraq or Afghanistan or Gitmo or the economy anymore, because Obama has tripled the problems in those areas. So... the lefties just keep hating Bush as they hate all of us. Because we are here.

I would love nothing better than to call Bush pure evil.

But he isn't. He is 50% evil and 50% grossly incompetent.

What did the moronic Bush do after starting two totally unnecessary wars?

Easy, he turned the war profits over to the equally slimy Cheney's company Halliburton.

Meanwhile Satan anxiously awaits the arrival of Bush and Cheney.

Thank God George W. Bush was our President during those 8 years. Watch the special that's being broadcast this week on the National Geographic Channel about the lead up to 9/11 and President Bush's handling of the aftermath. You will see how Clinton and his Administration just turned their head the other way for 8 years and allowed AlQaeda to become the threat it was in 2001. You will also see how after 9/11 we took the fight to them and kept America save. God Bless George W. Bush.

You might also gather that I have no use for Clinton either. You might even gather that I have no use for illegal immigration either. Obama (Clinton too) and Bush do. I attribute this lack of comprehension on your part to listening to too much talk radio.

Like it or not Bush helped pave the way for the election of Obama with his disasterous policies.

Triying to kill the country ... as opposed to Bush who sat on over 40 PDB's while as Tenet said: the system was blinking red? Who gave two massive tax breaks to the rich while waging two wars and borrowing from the Chinese to pay for them. That these tax breaks also allowed US companies to move our jobs off shore while at the same time, protect their profits from US taxes? Sat around doing nothing as the housing bubble fueled by Wall St speculators almost crashed our economy, then handed our children the bill to pay for their excesses? Bush was handed an economy with 4.4% unemployment, no wars and a debt of $5.5 trillion and left it to Obama with 7.9% unemployment and climbing, doubled the debt and two wars ... and you think that is class?
