O'Donnell has always been a rude, antagonistic, vitriolic, scathing, cheapshotting, loudmouthed, uninformed, malevolent, mealymouthed, loud, proud, obtuse piece of work. He fits right in with the rest of the carrion eaters at MSNBC.

Hooray for Condi! Articulate and unruffled by this rabid miscreant. A lesson for all the others that deign to be interviewed by these hind sighted behinds in the left-brained crass media.

I think she's terrific. I am not sure she was a terrific secretary of state, but she's very good in these interviews with hotheaded idiots like O'Donnell.
Jack Wrote: May 09, 2011 12:27 PM
O'Donnell's days are not long for MSNBC.

The entire interview was stupid!!!! It was nothing but a Liberal commentator giving a Conservative diehard a bad time, with all of the predictable results from a contest between two such egotists.

All Rice did was defend her position, and all O'Donnell did was bait her.

There is little to be learned from either of them. It was a waste of air time. Or perhaps I should say "hot air"!! Think of how much was spent on this p***ing contest.

He even reverted to the meme that the U.S. went in with hardly any coalition support. What a crock. Even countries with nonexistent militaries sent SOMETHING, a token gesture of support for the cause more than bearing the burden on the front lines. America ALWAYS bears the burden on the front lines becaue everyone else is either uninterested or preoccupied with maintaining their welfare state.

Putting aside how nice and Christian Condi is, can anyone list the achievements of the Dept. Of State under Codi? What successes would you point to? Is there anything in her answers that trouble you? Is it acceptable to point to claims that have been totally proven to be false as a justification for war? Do you really think she has fessed up sufficiently to the things she believed were true that turned out to be false?

I don't personally like O'Donnell much but it seems to me that Rice has never taken responsibility for her role in being taken in by flawed intelligence. I understand it could happen, but I don't see any evidence of success to offset the failure. Please enlighten me.

"Flawed intelligence"? Iraq had WMD.

As for the State Department, you are right, it is worse than useless. Paul Bremer had more to do with post-war Iraq's failure than anyone.

Just like a Democrat... Do you really think she has fessed up sufficiently??? You want a confession? She gave detailed and cogent answers to Mr. Odonnell's vitriolic accusations. Unfortunately, unlike you, most of the rest of the human race is not precognitive so, as she said, has to go on the intel that you have at the time, you idiot.

Condoleezza Rice is a Christian and loves the truth. Christianity matters greatly because Christ is the launching pad to know what truth is. America used to have more citizens like her. That is why there is a leadership drought in America and she stands out so dramatically.

She needs to run for president. She's the best candidate the Republican party has.

Lawrence O'Donnell is such a leftist tool. He kept trying his Saturday-Night-Live-Styled, "Jane, you ignorant sl..." commentary on this tough, intelligent, articulate, composed woman, Condoleezza Rice, but it didn't work. It was as if he was a child hurling insults at a grown-up. I was proud to watch as she showed her character and composure, but you could see her disgust for him in her eyes; she was excellent at remaining un-flapped by his leftist craep and demeaning, twisted (spun) BS.

Condi, you are indeed a rare woman, informed better than most, wielding a memory like a steel trap, and you are wise far beyond your years. After watching that interview, and how you angered O'Donnell with facts and truth, I could hug you!

We conservatives need to see more of you on the national stage. Please do not go quietly into the night.

Reminds me of a joke:

How do you make a conservative angry?
tell them a lie.
How do you make a liberal angry?
Tell them the truth.

I can't listen to the entire interview. I want to punch this guy in the face.
chuck Wrote: May 08, 2011 10:50 AM
My word, she reminds me of the way women used to be and he reminds me of what men are becoming today.
Ron Wrote: May 08, 2011 10:31 AM
"Lawrence, you are quite ill informed."

She says it all as the last statement of her interview. One who obviously has his head screwed on so backwards is no match for a powerhouse of a lady who has logic and facts on her side.
Patriotson Wrote: May 08, 2011 10:12 AM
How well spoken is she... Condoleezza Rice for President! Yeah!

Condi could wipe the floor with Obama in any debate. She could beat him although she's never held elective office. She would siphon off the female vote and even some blacks from Obama!

Where does she stand on abortion? The economy? Immigration? I could back her in a race.
eliz Wrote: May 08, 2011 12:22 AM
This man, in addition to being rude and "ill-informed" appears to be a misogynist and racist judging by his abusive treatment of a former U.S. secretary of state.
