Are you out there?

Good! WLIW/21 wants you, needs you, will make you a star. The channel's putting together a doc on the town of Huntington - not unlike "New York War Stories" - and wants YOUR story.

Begs the question: Does this mean Ch. 21 is beginning a whole new series on LI, dedicated to individual communities, because it can't very well do something on Huntington and not eventually do Islip, or Hempstead, Brookhaven, Riverhead, Smithtown...?

Per a WLIW spokeswoman, via email, "As for our plans, I think it’s too early to tell right now. I know the goal and hope is to have this Huntington show be the first in a series of shows on different LI towns. But we have to see what the response is to this show first. Our hope is that by getting the community involved from the start, it will encourage viewership when the doc finally airs."
