Make a very succinct point to those seeking public office. Unless a candidate expressly states they will work to secure the borders (with NO amnesty) they will not get your vote and the party involved in promoting them will not receive support or donations. Once again the pot is stirred about the invasion of people entering America illegally all for political reasons. Nothing has been done by the Federal government since Reagan gave us what was supposed to be the last amnesty issued and was supposed to be the answer to this problem. Well it was neither. Most know that this a big big problem but when you have the Federal government suing
a state in order to stop that state from addressing the problem you know the Federal government or at least the current occupants are not serious about shutting down the flow of illegal aliens.
The answer if I might be so bold, is to cut all flow of aid to Mexico,
and I mean all, including commerce. Then you would see the Mexican government sending its own troops to the border shutting down the flow. But no we can't do that , it would be to crude.
But we have a smug , big eared novice making sly remarks that sound cool to some but do nothing to solve the issue and not intended to but only to make him look like he wants to do something about it. Well he's had plenty of opportunities and better prospects earlier on in his administration but no this is an election year and he wants the issue to help his prospects of getting reelected. What a phony.
Maybe the dirty little secret that people won't mention is that this problem ( illegal invasion ) is a demographic problem. You see since abortion was legalized there have been approximately 40 million murders of potential American citizens ( legal ), so these have to be replaced, so we are doing it with non-americans. A few states have actually enacted laws to protect America and her true citizens against all these illegals and have tried to get a handle on everything they bring with them.......crime; destroying the very social fabric of our country; their refusal to learn to proficiently speak and read English; they are crushing our healthcare systems; crushing our educational systems; crushing our judical systems; drug cartel members are among them as well as Islamic terrorists. I read on one of these comments that we can't go out and start picking these illegal immigrants, all law breakers, i.e., criminals, up.....why not? Might take awhile but we can do this........heck we send thousands of American military men and women all over the world to fight and die for worthless countries and peoples like Afghanisthan and Iraq.....why can't we mobilize efforts to save our own country? Yes we are a country of immigrants.....but this is 2011 and not the mid-1800's or the early part of the 20th century, we can no longer support the downtrodden of the world......we have our own downtrodden to help! Our own country to try and salvage! Businesses that hire illegals should be not only fined but the owners/CEO's/Management types should go directly to jail....minimum sentences should start at 10 years with no parole!! That is something they would understand.........they use cheap slave labor and still raise the prices of their goods to the rest of us. Bottom line is that "we the people" may have to get this under control ourselves.......and that may not be pretty. The alternative is to lose our country, our freedoms, our culture, our heritage, and our American way of life.....to become a two-class third world country! The correct term for illegal immigration is INVASION. One of the very few purposes of government is to prevent such an event. I've been doing some math. Obviously our government and some of it's citizens can come down hard on ONE class of people. Our border with Mexico is just shy of 2,000 miles long; we have built less than 700 miles of fence. 2) Border Patrol, yes, it has been vastly expanded; but it started from a pathetically low number. In 2000, there were only 9,000 BP officers for the 8,000 miles of border -- southern and northern -- that they are expected to police. There are about 20,000 now, but given the increased responsibility the agency has been given (for instance, scanning all of the freight that comes into the country by truck and ship), there are not nearly enough of them, and the agency is not growing fast enough to accomplish its additional duties while still patrolling the border. 3) And finally (but not all), he has failed to answer the fundamental question raised by amnesty, that is, how is rewarding lawbreakers with citizenship going to discourage future lawbreakers?
