This Week's Tweets I Like

This week I've picked a broad array of topics from the Twitterverse of followers of @bamransom, including life, foreign policy, Sen. Ensign and Nevada, the debt "bomb" and the Department of Energy.

StevenErtelt Steven Ertelt  @dawnnicmar What about pro-abortion people who try to shut down pro-life centers helping poor women? http://bit.ly/eels4y

Nothing infuriates me more than the hypocrisy from the left about caring for poor women’s health.

The left cares about abortions, the number of abortions by poor, mostly black women; that’s it. And they care about it because the abortion mill Planned Parenthood gives candidates money to care about them. Congress in turn gives Planned Parenthood over $350 million per year.

The rest of the money comes from donations from elitists like Warren Buffet, Bill Gates and Ted Turner. Why the concern from rich leftists?

As the leftist spokeswoman, Supreme Ruth Bader Ginsburg explains it, abortion is driven by the “concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don’t want to have too many of.”

We saw the hypocrisy in the debate over the budget.

While Harry Reid was grandstanding about Republicans trying to deny his granddaughter pelvic exams, we all know the only pelvic exam Planned Parenthood is interested in is the one that results in a bloody fetus being expelled from a woman Warren Buffet doesn’t want to live next door to.

And please, the idea of Harry Reid’s granddaughter lacking for anything is laughable.
