And just like that, we've got a little news outta TCA...BBC America announced this ayem that Ted Koppel - no intro needed - will join the network's nightly newscast this fall as an analyst/contributor. TK, as you know, works for the Discovery Channel, has a pretty darned good doc on this week about China, and hasn't done anything for ABC since splitting there a couple years ago. Here's the Ted quote: "The BBC has worldwide capabilities that I can’t think any American network matches. To the degree that our future in this country is dependent to any extent on what’s happening in the rest of the world — which you won’t hear about a great deal on the American networks — then the BBC can be very, very helpful."
